                                                            Deep Clean


Our deep clean is what Monkey Shine Cleaning suggests on a first time visit, due to the build up of dirt. This gets your house in top shape for our maintenance cleaning plan. This is our best package. Our deep clean option takes longer and cost a bit more, but it is really worth it in the end.

Why the extra time?
A first time cleaning of a new residential account is more like a "spring cleaning" and needs extra staff time to remove the extra soil and build-up. We may spend anywhere from 4 to 8 times longer to clean a first time residential account than an existing clients home.

A customer who has never had their home professionally cleaned is likely to have soil build up through out the house. Or if we are taking over an account from another residential cleaning contractor, it's likely the customer decided to make a change because they weren't happy with the quality of cleaning. In this case you're probably going to run into areas that haven't been properly cleaned for a while. Staff will need extra time to remove the build up of soil or dust. Bathrooms and kitchens will also need extra scrubbing. Most everything will need hand wiping . It is essential to get a home back to a maintenance level. 

 

Every deep clean includes the general clean list items cleaned by hand with detail, emphasis  and focus on build up, plus the following:                                                
Ceiling fans are hand washed or wiped

Cobwebs removed

Blinds and shutters are vacuumed or hand wiped with micro fiber

Moldings and wood work, window sills and lock ledges all hand wiped

Baseboards are hand wiped when reachable without moving furniture

All pictures hand wiped

Furniture will be dry dusted or polished, your choice

Top of refrigerator will be wiped or hand washed

Outside of appliances cleaned, microwave cleaned inside and out

Stove top and burner drip pans scrubbed

All kitchen and bathroom cabinets are washed, fronts and sides

All doors including over and cutouts, dusted or hand washed as needed

All light switch plates washed

Counter tops and back splashes washed

Window over the sink cleaned

One set of glass sliders cleaned top to bottom with windex, additional glass sliders extra charge per set

All sinks scrubbed and disinfected

Mirrors cleaned all the way to the top

Tub / shower and tile are double scrubbed

All bathroom counters and fixtures, cleaned and sanitized

Wastebaskets are emptied, wiped out and relined

Floors are vacuumed and or mopped

Stairs are vacuumed or washed depending on surface

                                           General Clean

 

Ceiling fans and light fixtures are dusted

Cobwebs removed

Pictures and knick-knacks are dusted

Top of refrigerator dusted if accessible

Mirrors cleaned with Windex

Tub / shower and tile are scrubbed

All bathroom & kitchen counters and fixtures are washed and sanitized

All items on bathroom and kitchen counters are wiped

Waste baskets are emptied, wiped out and relined

Floors are vacuumed and or mopped

Stairs are vacuumed or washed depending on surface

Small items and light furniture are moved and vacuumed under as needed

 

What type of service should I choose?

For those who have a very busy lifestyle and are in need of a routine cleaning schedule or for those of you who are looking for a one-time cleaning, we have the right solution for you! Here are the recommended schedules and the different  types of cleaning services that Monkey Shine Cleaning have to offer.

 

Weekly Service: This is great for individuals and families who have no time to clean on a weekly basis but can maintain every day clutter. If organization is an issue, we do offer these services if we are notified in advance so that we may book your time accordingly. We love offering solutions to those in need of more time in their busy schedules!

 

Bi-Weekly Service:This is a wonderful service for those who participate in their own weekly maintenance and cleaning of their home, but need additional help and assistance with some of the "heavier" cleaning. This is not meant  as the only solution to your housekeeping needs. Their is a joint participation of both parties to keep your home clean and sanitary.

 

Monthly Service:This is perfect for people who are very adept at keeping their home clean and organized, but wish to have a deeper cleaning done once a month for upkeep purposes. If left unattended, dirt, dust and grime will build up to a degree that will require you to pay for an "initial cleaning: if not maintained in between. 

 

 

                House Watching and Snow Bird Programs

 

If you are locking your property up for one month or for several months at a time, it is not a good idea to just assume that all will be fine until you return home. Not having a qualified company looking in on your home and property on a regular scheduled basis is an invitation to all kinds of potential problems such as insect infestation, unauthorized pool and house use, mold and or mildew damage, odors and water damage from leaks, theft and or vandalism, and any number of other examples.

Inspections of the exterior of the property for:

Storm damage

Visible insect infestation

Evidence  of illegal entry

Unsolicted newspapers in the driveway and mailbox (a very visible indication you are away for a period of time)

 

Inspect the interior of the property for:

Visible insect infestation

Evidence of illegal entry

Visible storm damage

Mold and or mildew growths and odors

 

Keeping your home fresh by:

Flushing toilets and adding deodorizer

Run water in all taps for several minutes

Verify thermostat settings are operating correctly

Verify electronic timers are set and operational (if applicable)

General cleaning at least once per month

 

Notes:

Keeping in mind that just about every home/homeowner is different, we have made a very basic inspection list.

We  understand that you may have individual priorities and needs above and beyond what we have listed, in saying so we would invite and encourage any input that you may have.

 

In instances where we find visible evidence of storm damage, whether it be from wind, fallen trees, water, etc., you will be contacted for instructions on how you would like us to assist you in taking care of any situation in your absence. We can contact, with your approval, any local contractors for repairs that are needed to be taken care of.

 

In instances where we find any visible evidence of illegal entry or vandalism, the appropriate authorities will be contacted and they will in turn contact you. In your absence we will take any necessary steps needed to help you with any action necessary to remedy the situation until your arrival back home.

 

Should minor repairs to any part of your property be required, we can arrange to have work done by a local contractor, with your written permission. Charges for the above services are as flexible as your needs.
